Damned Insatiable Thirst, Eternal Languor

I started writing a blog for my readers entitled Damned Insatiable Thirst, Eternal Languor  an expression I took from Charlie Huston's vampire novel, My Dead Body. It is semi-titled 'For those seeking knowledge here are invaluable words of wisdom on writing and reading.' It is meant to to inform and appraise, to review and entertain those who are readers of novels and I write about my writing and reading experiences. Since the infusion of these ideas I have been approached my Suspense Magazine, an online monthly publication, and now you will find my book reviews mirrored in their pages every month.

I encourage everyone who reads this to go to Suspense Magazine

Bricktown Brewery

As fans and readers of Blood on His Hands know the Bricktown Brewery in downtown Oklahoma City is the meeting point where Ian meets Bonnie, allowing the fateful relationship between the pair to develop. On a recent trip to Oklahoma to attend the Red Dirt Book Festival in Shawnee I stopped in to visit Greg Powell, the restaurant manager, and we have worked together to make Blood on His Hands available for all customers of Bricktown Brewery. You may now go online and order a copy from their online store. I urge all my Oklahoma City fans to stop in and say hi to Greg and let him know you appreciate his participation and show him a little patronage, tell him I sent you and buy a rack of ribs or hang out in the bar and watch the Oklahoma Thunder win another game.

At least on paper. He turned the trauma and drama of his nasty divorce and his self-awakening that followed into his debut novel: Blood on His Hands (Infinity Press, 2009).

Sadler neither disclosed if his ex-wife had been cheating on him nor if he owned a shotgun, but he did answer one question quite ominously. When asked if he had a dog, he replied, “Not anymore.”
